In the cold of December 1943, three Jewish children flee Nazi-occupied France and find refuge in a Catholic school run by Sister Gabrielle. At first, the nuns young students are afraid to shelter the refugees from the Nazi soldiers who are determined to capture them.
But the students come to understand and sympathize with the trios plight and finally even risk their own lives to protect them. Together, they devise a bold escape plan - but will it carry them to freedom or cost them their lives?
Based on the book "Twenty & Ten" by Claire Huchet Bishop, this is a powerful drama about a nun who risks her life to protect Jewish children fleeing Nazi-occupied France.
