Review: Marvin & Tige are two good buddies, who met when they were both having problems. Tige is an 11-year-old black kid whose mother has just died, leaving him all alone - to the extent of contemplating cutting his wrist, late at night in an Atlanta park. Marvin is a collector of bottles to pay his bills. He is a 50-something white guy, with a heart. Enough said. It's a beautiful story. It resulted a movie (1976) that matches the book almost exactly (a rarity!). Check it out!

Review: I have viewed this movie 8 times, and each time it is like the first time, so emotional-happy -sad- tears- AS it is stated this is A MASTERPIECE. buy it you will never ever regret it and youll have a movie you can view over and over and over. Get the popcorn and enjoy the movie.
